Neurospicy Horse Camp

June 8 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

$35

This workshop is for neurodivergent individuals ages 16 and up to connect with horses and each other.

Neurodivergent is a non-medical umbrella term that describes people with variation in their mental functions, and can include conditions such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other neurological or developmental conditions such as attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). “Neurospicy” is a light-hearted term used by many people to embrace their neurodiversity.

If you want to spend time with horses, learn basic horsemanship skills, or improve your horsemanship skills join us for this 2-hour experience with our therapy horses. Let’s have some fun! It’s Neurospicy Horse Camp!

Please dress for the weather. Bring a refillable water bottle.
Closed toed shoes are required to participate in activities with the horses. No horseback riding is involved.

When: Saturday, June 8th from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Where: PBJ Connections – 9800 Jug St NW, Pataskala, OH 43062

Facilitator: Anissa Kasarjian, LISW

Cost: $35

Terminology Note – We are using the terms “neurospicy” and “neurodivergent” as descriptions to help invite a specific demographic to come together and learn with our therapy horses. We understand there is some debate about this terminology and not everyone likes to use these terms to describe themselves. We are committed to listening to our clients and community in these ongoing conversations.
